I hope so phaedra96. It would be great fun to drive in a parade. We'd look kinda funny in our forecart though; I'd have to dress up like a farmer, but we'd have fun with it. Some of those carriages were quite fancy and looked expensive. I hope to post more pictures later today.
I've loved horses all my life and owned several when I was younger. I showed in English Pleasure and Amateur Hunters in my 20s. Now in my 50s, following a long absence of horses, I've rekindled my passion. I have three equines at home - Misty, a Percheron mare, Lyra a mini horse and her daughter, Lola, a mini mule. We're an odd looking group, but we get along great.
Great picture, I love those horses they're so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
They are very pretty. I interviewed a barn owner a few weeks ago and there was a baby Fjord there. Absolutely cutsiepie of a girl!
ReplyDeleteMarley will be the most handsome boy in the parade!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Grey Horse; those were a couple of big, hefty Fjords.
ReplyDeleteJeniQ, Awww, I've never seen a baby Fjord in the flesh. How fun!
juliette, I agree, he is a handsome chunk of a pony.
They look like an older, been-there with a younger, starting- out. He is a hunka horse, now. There is Marley in a few years!!
