NuzMuz, it is a crazy picture isn't it? I'm sure you remember the feeling in the IT world. One thing I like about the pic, is even though this chicken (or is it a rooster), looks like it has had some rough encounters, he's walking tall and proud. Walking into the weekend, is what I thought of when I saw it Friday.
I had a great day today (Saturday) with Misty. Took a 2 hour group riding lesson and even though I haven't ridden her in 6 weeks due to work/weather/illness, she was great. It was hard to get back in the saddle after 6 weeks (4 of which had me down and out with horrible bronchitis), but I'm so glad I dedicated the day to Misty. I love that mare.
I love, love, love that picture! It cracked me up...even more so seeing it oh, so, ssssloooowleeeee revealed, almost line by line, on my iPad, which is running a bit slowly as we trek through Texas. I had a notepad at work that made me feel like the chicken looks - it showed a wild-haired woman and said, "I am strong, I am invincible, I am woman!" Using that pad always picked me up after a hectic day. Hope you had a good weekend. See you soon!
Hi there, girl friend! I hope you got some rest this weekend.
Because I love your blog and think it is truly 'Stylish' I have passed the Stylish Blogger award on to you.
There are 4 duties to perform to receive this award (and I know this may be too, too much at this time!):
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this award 2. Share 7 things about yourself 3. Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers 4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award!
I love your blog! February will pass and hopefully life will get a bit easier!
I've loved horses all my life and owned several when I was younger. I showed in English Pleasure and Amateur Hunters in my 20s. Now in my 50s, following a long absence of horses, I've rekindled my passion. I have three equines at home - Misty, a Percheron mare, Lyra a mini horse and her daughter, Lola, a mini mule. We're an odd looking group, but we get along great.
Relax and have a great weekend with your Misty girl!
ReplyDeleteGood idea! Have some fun.
ReplyDeleteI feel like that chicken! ugg sorry you had a rough week too.

I am that chicken! Hope you have a good weekend. you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing picture and the perfect caption to go alone with it. It would also go with a lot of chicken crossing the road jokes.
