I downloaded this very affordable and entertaining eBook from http://www.smashwords.com/ and read it on my Nook Color. I enjoy a good mystery/thriller and this one was extra fun to read as it is bespeckled with anecdotes of horse care and rural living. The ending had me guessing with its unexpected twists and turns. I couldn't put it down at the end until I found out Whodunnit!

Thanks for the review. Was the formatting okay for the color Nook? I didn't really like the way that I was asked to format it so that it would work with a variety of devices.
ReplyDeleteNuzMuz, I downloaded the ePub version. It was quite good. Much better than another book I tried to read that was only available as PDF. I prefer the ePub format. The only difference I noticed with yours was that the text was left-aligned only while most of the ePub books I've read have been both right and left justified so that the text spreads across evenly to both margins. Your book was comfortable to read on the Nook Color. You did a good job making it available. I actually moved up my purchase of my Nook just so I could download your book from Smashwords. Now I'm hooked on e-Reading.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder. I downloaded the book on my iPhone and started it while waiting for my sister at the airport. I HAD to put it down - and then in all of todo around a family visit and with all of our project work, I hate to say it, but I forgot about the book. I'll have to get back to it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I have the Kindle myself. I can view what the book is supposed to look like on each device, but the emulators are so buggy that I don't trust them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review. I read her book of poetry and it was EXCELLENT. I love poetry and non-fiction memoir, so it was a very pleasant surprise.
