Double Dip

Last evening's rain shower treated us to prairie a la mode.

A double dip of rainbow sherbet.

Delicious to the soul.

  3. Wow that's a really great picture! I took one of a double rainbow once that wasn't nearly that nice. :)

Thanks for the comment on Chrome and the pedestal. I used 3/4 inch plywood secured with carriage bolts (2 1/4 inches should be plenty long), washers (so it doesn't pull through the tire) and lock nuts. For the support I just screwed several four by fours in the center, but it does need some sort of support in the tire because when he steps too close to the edge it collapses and he slips, so I'll probably put some two by fours in there. It was really simple to make. :D So far he seems to love it. I've been feeding him his dinner while he stands on it and he hurries over, puts his front hooves on it and shoves his head in the bucket before I can even click so I don't think he's nervous about it lol. He's so silly. He's put a rear hoof on it a couple of times too. :)

I bet that was really adorable with Misty and the bridge. Four inches does make a difference!

  6. So perfect. Once, a friend of mine captured a photo of a double and it looked like it was going to my house!
