Plan B: Cranberries, mashed potatoes, and....pizza?
November 23, 2011
I am grateful for two gray girls in our backyard, and pleased that they get along so well. I feel honored to care for two of God's most magnificent creatures.
Laughing Orca...I think we should go into business and open a chain of specialty holiday/occasion pizza stores. There is a pizza place in a small town that I want to try...it offers a "cajun pizza" with spicy cajun sausage and shrimp. Shrimp on a pizza? Sounds weird, but they say it is delicious.
I am laughing because your comment reminded me of the time my MIL's turkey was bad. There aren't too many options on Christmas day... we ate the fixings and something she found in the freezer... I think it was a pork roast. It worked!
I've loved horses all my life and owned several when I was younger. I showed in English Pleasure and Amateur Hunters in my 20s. Now in my 50s, following a long absence of horses, I've rekindled my passion. I have three equines at home - Misty, a Percheron mare, Lyra a mini horse and her daughter, Lola, a mini mule. We're an odd looking group, but we get along great.
Great pictures! Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
ReplyDeleteAwww, what sweet Thanksgiving sentiments :)
ReplyDeleteCute photo of them, too.
How about a Thanksgiving Pizza? Pile all the fixings on some pizza dough and bake!
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
