I must report one Christmas decor casualty.
A Santa hat placed atop a lamp shade is no longer a Christmas decoration.
We found it on the floor, a little tattered.
Bella had claimed it as her own.
It was promoted to Christmas dog toy.

Goodbye to decorations until next year. I'm putting mine away today. Glad we didn't have any casualties like your Santa hat. Bella is really cute with her new toy.

Seems like yesterday was the day for a lot of folks to pack up Christmast 2011.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought the hat had charred.. but dog toy is so much more fun!
Taking down the tree is so bittersweet but I love the change it brings. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWe lost two baubles trying to get all the lights back on after half of them went off AFTER I had fully decorated the tree. We had to settle for half a lighted tree this year :-)

ReplyDeleteLucky Bella! Tucker didn't get a hat - we had a few around, but he didn't figure out how to get them! Monty destroyed a few in his day!
